Resume.

I think the most important part about learning how to do a resume and letter of application is so that you can make one properly later on in life when you apply for jobs. I have three references. They are Denise Stalnaker, Debbie Conrad, and Lisa Karlen. I think they will say that I am punctual, determined, and a hard worker.

What I Learned From Word.

This week I have learned a lot about Word, but the most important thing I learned about Word is how easy it is to make a citation. It made me kind of mad to know how easy it is when our English teachers had to teach us the really hard way when we wrote our junior papers.

Essential Questions-1

I think it is very cool that this whole class is on the web. I like that you can grade our assignments off of our wiki and we can post answers to questions like this in our blog. I also like how you can post our grades on mygradebook.com. This week I learned a lot of new things. I learned that backup is a copy of a file or program that you make in case you somehow lose the original file. It is too bad that Mrs. Conrad did'nt have better backup for her book haha. I learned that a server is a computer that controls access to the hardware and software on a network and provides a storage area for programs, data, and information. I also learned that the user interface is the hardware and software together. If I had to purchase a computer now I wouldn't have to think about anything cause I already know that I want a MacBook Pro because I have wanted one for about 5 years.

Microsoft Office

I don't really use Microsoft Office products that often. The main product I use is Microsoft Word. I use it to type papers that need to be typed for school and just for random times that I need to write something down for whatever reason. I also use Microsoft Powerpoint, but not often. The last time I used it was for my senior project.
